Feast of St. Francis: Blessing of the Animals - Sunday, October 6th

The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, is celebrated annually on October 4th. To honor this day, we hold a blessing of animals on the rectory lawn on the weekend closest to the feast. This year, on Sunday, October 6th, at 2:00 p.m., we will gather with our covenant twin parish, Trinity Episcopal, for an ecumenical blessing of animals. All are welcome to bring their furry family members. Please ensure that dogs are leashed and other animals are secured in carriers.
