Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The Rite of Chrisitan Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is intended for anyone who is over the age of 5 who has not been baptized, or if over the age of 10 has not yet received his or her First Communion, or if over the age of 18 has not yet been baptized.  This experience is an opportunity to learn about our Catholic thorugh a team approach.  This process allows for the person seeking the sacraments to experience the Church as a community of disciples.  More than simply learning our catechism, the team should promote the experience of Catholic community, encourage Catholic piety and devotion, direct their particpation in the ministries and outreach of the parish and serve as a companion in this unique and transforming journey of faith. 
The schedule for RCIA varies according to the needs of the candidates of any given year.  Ideally, the group will meet once a week from September through Pentecost and monthly after Pentecost over the summer months. 
To participate in our English team, please contact Father Peter or Deacon Dave.  We hope to offer English teams for both adults (over 18) and children (ages 5 to 17).
